I have been active in professional global purchasing for more than 25 years. Purchasing was, is and will remain my vocation, with body and soul. After studying economics, I did my first purchasing steps as a trainee in the Thyssen Group. There I was allowed to take over the capital goods division for the former entire Thyssen Industrie and manage major international projects in plant construction. This was followed by international management tasks in purchasing at Thyssen Haniel Logistik / BAHNTRANS, Bernstein AG, Moeller GmbH (now Eaton), Winterthur AG, Crédit Suisse AG and UBS AG, in Germany, Mexico, Switzerland, New York, Singapore, London and Shanghai.
Since 2015 I have been working as an independent management consultant for purchasing & supply chain management for Westwood Capital in Switzerland, optimizing purchasing areas, leading active negotiations and taking over interim mandate.
